Blog 1: Who Am I?

Death is a peculiar thing. What with all the lives around me falling into the fate of the good God's above, I can only sit hear and worry about when the soul of my dear husband Hektor will be taken from me. Though, there is little a woman like myself can do in this society to avoid the perils of the weeping heart even with the rank I have; we are made to only aid in our husbands and sons battles by making their minds and bodies comfortable. Though, as I sit hear making these petty household objects I can listen into the conversations of numerous people; you'd be surprised what the voices through the walls and around corners have brought to my thirsty ears: war, deception, and pain.

My family is my life. Devoted to my husband, I strive to be sharp in mind as well as beautiful. Though I am only human, never would I put down his beliefs for my own, and never would I call upon another company of a man as long as he's breathing. As I was born in another land, my father being King Eetion, I wed Hektor, a fearless warrior in Troy and fell madly in love. I can't bare the thought of my family being ripped away from me, let alone slaughtered in war.
